Lennox and Addington Historical Society (LAHS) is a non-profit, volunteer organization, documenting and sharing the rich history of Lennox and Addington in Eastern Ontario, dating from days of the First Nations to the present County of Lennox and Addington. The goals of LAHS website are open access to narratives of local communities and the shaping of this County, with online archives and materials developed by volunteers. LAHS works with similar heritage group interests, including neighbouring Counties and Townships. By sharing of complementary newsletters, supporting Township memberships and contributing to local venues LAHS’s demonstrates its commitment to communities living and working together, both past and present.
