International Women’s Day 2020

Kathleen Frances Daly Pepper

Lennox and Addington Historical Society is recognizing International Women’s Day by celebrating a well-known Canadian artist, born in Napanee.

As the daughter of the Daly family owners of the Daly Tea Company, Kathleen followed her talent and love of art. Kathleen studied at Ontario Art College 1920-24, Paris and New York. She travelled and painted extensively especially in Canada. Known for her paintings of Inuit and Native Canadians, many of her paintings are exhibited in Galleries across Canada.
