WELCOME!

``History is our story, knowledge of ourselves, what we have accomplished in the past, in building a foundation for the future.``
Helen Hutchison, President Lennox and Addington Historical Society 1973

Lennox and Addington Historical Society (LAHS) is a non-profit, volunteer organization, documenting and sharing the rich history of Lennox and Addington in Eastern Ontario, dating from days of the First Nations to the present County of Lennox and Addington. The goals of LAHS website are open access to narratives of local communities and the shaping of this County, with online archives and materials developed by volunteers. LAHS works with similar heritage group interests, including neighbouring Counties and Townships.
